BOARD OF EQUALIZATION PROCEEDING

JANUARY 17, 2012                                                                                             GRANT, NEBRASKA

The meeting of the Board of Equalization of Perkins County, Nebraska, was held at 11:00 a.m. in the County Courthouse in Grant, Nebraska.

Present: Leon Pankonin, James A. Deaver, Sid Colson, County Assessor Bonnie Appel, County Attorney Rick Roberts and County Clerk Rita Long.

Chairman Pankonin called the meeting to order at 11:03 a.m.  It was announced that the notice of this meeting had been published in the Grant Tribune-Sentinel on January 12, 2012.  Acknowledgement was made that the Open Meeting Poster was posted in the Commissioner Room.  A motion was made by Commissioner Deaver to approve the minutes of January 3, 2012 with the correction that Chairman Colson called the meeting to order, not Chairman Deaver, as published in the Tribune-Sentinel, seconded by Commissioner Colson, roll call vote, 3 ayes, motion carried.  Motion was made by Commissioner Colson to approve the continuing agenda, seconded by Commissioner Deaver, roll call vote, 3 ayes, motion carried.

Tax List Corrections

Commissioner Deaver made the motion to allow the Chairman to sign the tax list correction 2012-007 for Randall Bond, seconded by Commissioner Colson, roll call vote, 3 ayes, motion carried. 

 

Commissioner Colson made the motion to allow the Chairman to sign the tax list correction 2012-008 of omitted property for Jacob & Sarah Schrotberger, seconded by Commissioner Deaver, roll call vote, 3 ayes, motion carried.  

Commissioner Deaver made the motion to allow the Chairman to sign the tax list correction 2012-009 of omitted property for Kevin Schrotberger, seconded by Commissioner Colson, roll call vote, 3 ayes, motion carried.  

 

On February 6, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. the hearings for Permissive Exemption will be scheduled.    

 

11:26 a.m. Commissioner Colson made the motion to adjourn the Board of Equalization meeting seconded by Commissioner Deaver, roll call vote, 3 ayes, motion carried.
